Sarvum Krishna Mayam
Dear Devotees:
We are pleased to announce that Sri Balaji Vedic Center
has been established to expound on the Vedas and to
learn the art of Vedic Chant, Vedic texts, thousands of years old,
are presented in the Sanskrit language and contain wisdom still
relevant to the challenges we face in the modern world.
The act of chanting brings life to these texts as well as to
the person listening and reciting. Additionally the center
will be teaching Yoga and Meditation. Yoga is a 5,000-year-old
physical and philosophical discipline from India that
joins the mind and body together through breath work,
or pranayama, and postures, or asanas.
Meditation is an excercise, aiming to prevent thoughts
in a natural way, by deeply relaxing the physical body
and then trying to keep completely "blank" with no
thoughts whatsover. The mind achieved during meditation
is essential to gain access to Higher Self.
Sri Balaji Vedic Center will be conducting classes on Vedic
Chanting, Yoga, Meditation and Hindu Scriptures
on a regular basis for the public.
