Volunteers

Sri Balaji Temple of Great Lakes is seeking volunteers who would like to dedicate their precious time supporting various activities at the Temple. Currently we are looking for volunteers for the below listed activities. If you are interested in volunteering, meet us at the Temple on Every Saturday at 12:30 PM. List of Activities - Seeking Volunteer Services are required
  1. Sound System setup during events (microphone, speakers)
  2. Photos - Taking photos during events and processing for publishing and archive
  3. Video - Taking video during events and editing for publishing and archive
  4. Website - Update website with upcoming events, photos, videos and other content
  5. Email - Compose and publish emails about the upcoming events
  6. Temple Decorations during festivals
  7. Facility Management - Cleaning the temple premises
  8. Printing - Provide printing services (design and print) during and in preparation for the events
  9. Calendar - Design and print the Calendar
  10. Yagnam brochure - Design and print brochure for the Yagnam
  11. Annadanam cooking and kitchen support every Saturday
  12. Event support - setup, front desk, supplies and other operational support during the festivals and events:

  • New Year Day
  • Special Sri Hanuman Chalisa Chanting 108Times
  • Astottara Sata Kalasa Thirumanjanam/Abhishekam
  • Yagnam
  • Yugadi & Tamil New Year Day
  • Sri Krishna Jayanthi
  • Sri Godha Ranganatha Thirukalayanam
  • Sri Narasimha Jayanthi Celebration
  • Panguni Uthram Celebration
  • Temple Annivarsary
  • Navaratri celebrations (all 9 days)
  • Deepavali
  • Sri Vaikunda Ekadasi
  • Special Grand Sri Venkateswara Thirukalayanam
